From Michigan to Orlando: Still a Detroit Lions Girl 💙

I may live in Orlando now, but some things will always remind me where I come from.

I’m originally from Michigan, and today marks the start of another NFL regular season—which means it’s officially time to pull out my Detroit Lions gear. 💙🏈

Living in Orlando has become such a big part of my life. I love the sunshine, discovering new places around Central Florida, meeting new people, and building a life here. But I also love holding onto the little things that remind me of home.

And during football season? That means cheering for Detroit.

One of my favorite things about living in Orlando is that so many of us are from somewhere else. We bring our hometown traditions, favorite foods, sports teams, and memories with us—and somehow they all become part of our Florida lives.

So yes, I’m an Orlando local now…but on game day, Detroit has my heart.
